What we don't know
Fog is a metaphor for everything we don’t know in life. The end that we cannot see. We think we know where we’re going, and we have all these well laid plans. Then the hidden undercurrents of life emerge and knock us sideways. We are suddenly completely turned around, floundering and gasping for breath, and the only thing that’s clear is that we can no longer reach the destination we’d planned.
It’s painful, disorienting … But when we come up for air, there may be new blessings.
