End of the storm
This morning I was on my way out to the ocean to walk in less smokey air, when I received an alert of evacuation warnings that are creeping ever closer to us. So the walk got tossed and I’ve spent the day making arrangements for our animals and staging what will go with us, if we can squeeze it all into the car. Stress fatigue… This not to mention that on this day 26 years ago, I had such a happy wedding day.
So I am soothing myself with this image of rain falling in the creek—the same storm whose lightning caused this new wildfire.
