Evening sky.
Oh, I can’t get enough of the skies during this season!
Shot this last night when we were coming back from feeding my daughter’s goats. I turned the corner around the blackberry hedge, and this took my breath away.
As of tonight, we in Sonoma County are part of the San Francisco Bay Area’s shelter-in-place orders. My own circumstances are comfortable enough; I’ve always treasured days when I never leave the property, and I can easily find silver linings for myself. But I’m aching for our world. My daughter, who turns 21 this week, has faced way too many challenges already, and this pandemic puts a shadow on her entire view of life. In future years, I wonder if she will be able to draw the same solace from beauty that I do?
