Winding trails, unexpected places.

Picking up where I left off when disaster arrived last month in the form of fire, extreme heat, and smoke. This morning amidst a new fire danger warning I returned to longer hikes in pursuit of my future… that is, rebuilding my strength after two major surgeries, and training for mountain trekking when travel is possible again. I continue to note winding trails that go unexpected places.
