It’s been a hard day here, saying goodbye to our beloved grey kitty, Thundercloud. One of the great cats in a lifetime of cats, he grew from a feral kitten to a fierce hunter and good friend to my old longhair Moe. Once Moe died, Thundercloud became very attached to the humans around him, mourning the loss of Dave and becoming our closest companion in the years since losing Dave. Even amidst chemo over the last six months, he remained a fierce defender of his turf and a mighty hunter (you don’t want to know). What a guy.
