Towards the rear of this image, the yellow grasses have already been mowed to create a fire break. While a few spot fires have been reported in recent weeks, today the Sonoma County Fire District issued its first red flag warning of the year—when the combustible combination of heat, dryness, and wind call for special attention and care.
