Calla lily.

Among many meanings, I’m told calla lilies represent our ability to overcome any challenge that lies ahead of us. Grateful that they are in bloom while we are hunkered down this spring.

A Greek legend about the origin of calla lilies: Because Hera’s milk could give the infant Hercules godlike powers, Zeus brought him to nurse at Hera’s breast while she slept. Hera woke with a start and pushed the baby away. Droplets of her flowing milk spurted into the sky, becoming the Milky Way. Some droplets fell to the earth, and became calla lilies.
