Darkness into Light #8 — Each Day a Little More Light
The sun sets later. I dawdle feeding the goats, scratching their faces, laughing as they try to get into each other’s food. I walk the land, visit the fish in their pond. Smelling the air, despite the cold I can feel the return of spring.
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in.
(Leonard Cohen)
