Darkness Into Light #1 (2020/21)

As we enter the dark of the year, I invite you to join me in a metaphorical journey through darkness and into the light. Over the coming month, the days will become darker until the solstice, and light will increase in the first few weeks of the new year. During this time I will post images that suggest this transition—some new, some from the archive. Aligning with all the spiritual festivals of the solstice, we’ll acknowledge the horror of the pandemic we are living through and the cruel regime that is coming to an end. We’ll celebrate this new moment, walking towards health and justice. If, like me, you are emerging from a dark time personally into a new stage of life, we can walk this path together.
