The traumatized forest.
Through the closer burnt branches and oaks on this hillside, you can see the burnt oak forest on the next slope, the golden grasses muddied with a world of dark branches and twigs, not to mention little bits of the first green leaves the trees have eked out, in this year after it all burned.
