Morning on the River.

Smoke from the Shady/Glass Fire continues to make the air quality very unhealthy. My daily check of air quality apps directed me to the lower stretches of the Russian River between Duncan Mills and Jenner—possibly the only spot in Sonoma County with moderately good air. 

Driving this stretch brings up a flood of memories of life with Dave. As the anniversary of his death approaches, it’s truly a bittersweet moment: sweet fun memories drenched in the bitterness of loss.
