Darkness Into Light #17—Color Returns.
Neruda said, “you cannot keep Spring from coming.” Late in the day, we catch glorious color and smell the approach of spring. After the pitch darkness of the season we’re emerging from, the dangers unleashed, these little ducks still navigate into reflections of light. In their honor, here is Emily Dickinson:
Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
And never stops at all.
